We know who the top dogs are in Miami, but who will the Heat pick up to support them?
Right now they have the best 3-on-3 team in basketball history, and that's all well and good if their goal is to take home the Gus Macker trophy.
Quite obviously, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have higher aspirations. There is generous talk of a dynasty, of transforming the NBA, of ripping off a run of championships not seen so frequently since Bill Russell and the Celtics. Which means absolutely nothing here in mid-July or until we get a better idea who else will be in the Heat team photo besides three very rich guys. The nfl jerseys : we will give you almost 40%-50% off if you buy the products in our websites .and all the products is free shipping .besides ,there are no other charges to pay .if you are ready to buy large volume of our products ,we will give you the lower price to buy our products .we promise we will provide the best products and the cheapest price to you .

And so: What kind of help can the Heat -- should the Heat -- surround these three players to complete the Supreme Team?
We should have a better idea this week. Miami is bearing down on Mike Miller, former sharpshooting sniper for the Wizards, Timberwolves, Grizzlies and Magic, and bringing back Udonis Haslem, a big rebounder on Miami's championship team six years ago. Other spare parts will start to fill out the roster, on the cheap, of course. Some describe of our products . The ed hardy clothing :if you buy it in our websites ,we will give you free shipping ,and there are no other charges to pay . besides ,you will get 50%-60% off .what’s more we will provide you with personal customer service for large volume wholesale orders and discuss the shipping options fully.we promise we will provide the best products and the cheapest price to you .
Given the realities and restrictions of the salary cap, there's destined to be an imbalance on the roster, you think? The upcoming season will be about three stars and nine baggage handlers. Three stars will command all the glamour and the pub, while the other nine appear as fine print on the billboard. Is this any way to build a Supreme Team?
Well, yes. Amazing how folks are already criticizing the blueprint, saying the Heat, with three stars, will do a disservice to basketball. And LeBron is getting the full brunt; folks are saying he's taking the easy way to a title. Basically, there is unrest brewing in basketball circles, where a segment of the masses is anxious to chop down the title chances and egos of the Heat's core, all because of ... well, just because.
Funny. Nobody ever complained about the Celtics and Lakers in the 1980s of being stacked. Nobody ever said Larry Bird was enjoying an easy ride because he had Robert Parish and Kevin McHale and for a time, Dennis Johnson. Can you smell a double standard? Same for Magic Johnson; obviously, those championships he won were cheapened because he had the audacity to suit up next to Kareem and James Worthy and Byron Scott. Why, there's no way we can look at Magic and Kobe Bryant, who only had Pau Gasol, the same way, can we? Of course not. Kobe had the harder road, therefore, his championships without Shaq are legit and Magic's aren't. Just like LeBron is seriously lacking because he -- get this -- decided to choose more talented teammates rather than return to Cleveland and resume the heavy lifting. The u jordan shoes :if you buy the products in our websites ,we will provide you the reasonable price(we can give you almost 60% off ) and then all of the products you buy are free shipping , besides, there are no other charges to pay .if you buy large volume of our products ,we will give you the VIP price ,which you can get a lot of tangible benefit from it .,we promise we will provide the best products and the cheapest price to you .
OK. Got it.
Back to the topic. With LeBron and Wade basically the same player, and Bosh the only big man with double-double skills, Miami's needs are obvious. A shooter is No. 1 on the list, needed to open the lanes for Bosh and make teams pay for doubling on LeBron and Wade. Miller's signing appears imminent, but does he really fill the void? His career has been largely inconsistent, mainly due to changing roles with four different teams, mostly in losing situations. Miller is a career 46-percent shooter (40 percent on 3s), however, and could thrive in this situation. Miami evidently placed a higher value on Miller than J.J. Redick, a restricted free agent who'll make $6 million a season from either the Bulls or Magic. My choice would've been Redick, who brings more upside.
Haslem works out for a few reasons. He already received his big payday and therefore agreed to come cheap. He played on a championship team. And he doesn't need the ball to make an impact. He's decent value for the money and is best suited as a backup, an energy player.
Point guard, now that's an interesting decision. Miami needs someone steady (and cheap). Derek Fisher would've been perfect, but he returned to the Lakers. Luke Ridnour is another good one, but might be too pricey. The Heat may have to settle for Carlos Arroyo or Keyon Dooling. Maybe Shaun Livingston if they trust his health. Or Earl Boykins, if they trust his size.
You know who'd be perfect? Sherman Douglas, throwing lob passes to the Big Three. But this isn't 1990.The NFL-2010 jerseys wholesale nfl jerseys: If you buy the products in our websites ,all you buy is free shipping .and the price is more cheaper to other websites .besides ,you just pay for the products only ,there are no other charges to pay .what’s more the more you buy the more favourable terms you can get .we promise we will provide you the best products and the cheapest price .just action right now .
Anyway, point guard is the least worry, because LeBron and Wade are both used to handling the ball. LeBron, especially, is an excellent passer and one of the more unselfish (on the court) stars around; he could challenge for the league lead in assists next season. The only requirement for the point guard is that he play decent defense.
Who's left? Another big man? Someone to help contain (chuckle) Dwight Howard? Slim pickings here. The choice is either get someone old and past prime (a Theo Ratliff-type) or completely raw and without a track record (a John Brockman-type). Joe Smith, who still has legs, would help in spurts.
The elephant in the room is Shaquille O'Neal, of course. While Shaq wants to play next season, the Heat would need to carefully weigh the ego quotient in the locker room. They'd probably be wise to bypass Shaq for the same reasons they should bypass Allen Iverson and Tracy McGrady, two more ex-stars on the slide. Egos don't fade as quickly as skills. The girlshoesstore sale louboutin shoes : we provide the most beautiful shoes to you .if you love it ,just action right now .all of our products are free shipping and you there are no other charges ,you just pay for you shoes only .besides the more you buy the more favourable terms you can get .we promise ,we will provide you the best products and the cheapest price . All of our products free shipping.and the more you buy the more Favourable terms you can get .just action right now .you could buy the best products in a low price .
It appears the effort to sign Wade, Bosh and LeBron was the easy part. Now comes the hard: putting a blend of role players around them, and at least one player who can hit open shots in June.

Kobe Bryant and LeBron James Will Ultimately Be Judged By Hi

Notapor sunday31 el 06 Ago 2010, 19:22

The never-ending debate concerning Kobe Bryant and LeBron James has entered a new phase with James’ recent free agency defection from Cleveland to the sunny beaches of Miami.
For the first time in his career, James has a team that is able to match the Los Angeles Lakers in talent and star power, and the perception is he will assert his dominance as the game’s best player. NBA jerseys
In some people’s eyes James is already the game’s best player, and this may be true, but instead of continuing to argue an infinite debate, why not let history be the final judge between the two players?
NBA history has a way of separating the great players from the legendary ones, and although a player’s career numbers factor heavily into the equation, the ability to win championships is the distinguishing factor. mbt shoes
For instance, many people view Karl Malone as the greatest power forward in NBA history, but when Tim Duncan’s name is mentioned, history will elevate him because of his four championships.
Championships are a team achievement and Duncan had great teams, but so did Malone, and the fact Utah was never able to defeat Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls doesn’t diminish Duncan’s titles.
But it does help provide a good closing point for an argument for history’s greatest power forward, and when comparing great players most of the debates end the same way.
If Bryant’s career ended today he would be remembered as one of the greatest players the NBA has ever seen, and perhaps the best player in the history of one of the league’s most storied franchises. ed hardy clothing
That’s not a claim James can make right now, and under that light, Bryant’s career and five championships far out-distance James’ career, but the tale is far from done.
It’s presumptious to think James is not capable etching his name among the legendary greats of the NBA, because a title appears to be much closer to reality now that he has superstar help in Miami.
James certainly has the talent to continue posting incredible numbers, and it’s hard to picture the Heat failing to win a few championships, unless they completely implode as a team.
Some people have said that James’ legacy is tarnished by his decision to join Miami, but considering he has yet to really establish a legacy, and the ever-evolving perception around the game, is that really true? jordan shoes
If James leads Miami to multiple championships and assumes command of the Heat’s team, will history view his achievement in a lesser light because of his decision to join Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami?
It’s highly doubtful, and James is left with the opportunity to craft a legacy every bit as impressive as Bryant’s, if he can lead his Heat team to as many championships.
Bryant, however, has an equal chance of adding to his legacy, and a sixth career championship is well within in his reaches as the Lakers return a team seeking a third consecutive title.
It’s hard to compare Bryant and James anyway because of the differences in game, position, and size, but history always leaves a point of comparison between any players. hair straightener
That category is career championships, and although Bryant currently has a huge advantage over James, it’s not impossible to think James could at least mount a charge before his career is done.

U.S. mission in Iraq switches from combat to assist

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The U.S. military is on track to cut numbers in Iraq to 50,000 by end August, when the 7-1/2-year combat mission launched by former President George W. Bush ends and operations switch to assisting Iraq's armed forces.
The 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, the last brigade mainly focused on combat, handed over to Iraqi forces on August 7 and pulls out this week. Its 100-strong "trail party" will leave in three days after turning over facilities.
Another 6,000 U.S. soldiers still need to leave by transport aircraft or by road before August 31 to reach the 50,000 figure President Barack Obama promised U.S. voters would be left ahead of a total withdrawal by the end of 2011.MBT shoes
"My personal experience is it was worth it. We paid a huge cost," said Staff Sergeant Christopher Hush from the First Battalion of the 116th Infantry regiment which headed to Kuwait earlier this week.
There will be little actual change on the ground come September 1 when all six brigades left in Iraq officially become "Advise and Assist" units, said Major General Stephen Lanza, the U.S. military spokesman in Iraq.Christian Louboutin shoes
Most U.S. military units began switching their focus to training and assisting Iraqi troops and police over a year ago when they pulled out of Iraqi towns and cities on June 30, 2009.
U.S. forces have not been legally able to conduct unilateral operations in Iraq since a bilateral security agreement came into force in January 2009, and the U.S. military began a steady cut in troop numbers, from a peak of 176,000 soldiers.
"Every soldier is a combat soldier. It's about the change of mission. It doesn't change who we are or what we do," Lanza said. "You won't see this big change on 2 September."
MILESTONE IN WAR
The end of the U.S. combat mission in Iraq will still be a milestone in the war that began in 2003 with the invasion to topple Sunni dictator Saddam Hussein, whose long rule was marked by an eight-year war with Iran, the invasion of Kuwait and economic decline and diplomatic isolation.
More than 4,400 U.S. soldiers have been killed, while at least 100,000 Iraqi civilians also died, according to various counts, in fierce warfare unleashed between majority Shi'ites and minority Sunnis who dominated the country under Saddam.jordan shoes
Overall violence has fallen sharply since the height of sectarian slaughter in 2006/07. But Sunni Islamist-led insurgents still carry out attacks and Iraq is a fragile place.
Its leaders have not resolved a number of politically explosive issues, such as tensions between majority Arabs and minority Kurds, and reconciliation between Sunnis and Shi'ites.
Nor have they been able to form a new government five months after a national election that produced no outright winner.
Tensions have been stoked by a steady stream of suicide bombings and other attacks by insurgents trying to exploit the political vacuum ahead of the end of the U.S. combat mission.
Nevertheless, Iraq's tentative experiment with U.S.-imposed democracy holds the potential to upset political power balances throughout a region accustomed to autocratic governance.
Much of the U.S. war materiel and many of the soldiers leaving Iraq are being redeployed in Afghanistan, where NATO forces are fighting a resurgent Taliban. The 50,000-strong force left in Iraq will remain formidable -- almost twice the size of the U.S. deployment on the Korean peninsula.ed hardy clothing
Obama has said not a single U.S. service member will remain in Iraq come January 1, 2012, even though it will be impossible for Iraq to stand up its own air force and be ready to protect its territorial integrity on its own by then.
Yet the U.S. public is weary of war, and any decision to remain longer in Iraq would likely be highly controversial.
The war in Iraq has gone on longer than the U.S. Civil War, World War One and World War Two.

Forget the NFL, When does the NBA season start.

Notapor sunday31 el 30 Ago 2010, 19:41

The start of the NFL season is just one month away.Christian Louboutin shoes
And here in Florida, there is an incredible excitement in air. We are counting down the days. Fans are rushing to buy tickets. They are bantering back and forth about whose team is better. There is championship fever in the air.

Yes, the NFL season is just four weeks from today, and we Floridians absolutely cannot wait for opening night … of the NBA season!louboutin shoes
It's OK, you can admit it. All of you NFL helmet-heads can come out of the closet and confess that you are much more excited about LeBron, D-Wade and Dwight than you are David, Chad and Josh.

Are you ready for some football? Click here to sign up for our College Sports newsletter

That would be David Garrard, Chad Henne and Josh, um, uh ... Freeman? Yeah, Freeman, that's it.

Those are the starting quarterbacks of the three NFL franchises in Florida. We know them in this state as the Jaguars, Dolphins and Bucs, but nationally they are about as anonymous as Matt Kuchar's swing coach.NFL jerseys

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew told ESPN the other day that the Jags are "America's Team." Puh-leeze. The rosters of our three NFL teams are closer in stature to America's Got Talent than they are to America's Team. Sadly, the Dolphins, Jags and Bucs aren't even the most intriguing NFL story in their own state.

What's it tell you when the biggest NFL personality in this state is Tim Tebow — and he plays 2,500 miles away in Denver?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying basketball is overtaking football in popularity in this state — that would be foolish. Even Magic coach Stan Van Gundy won't go that far.

"This is the first time in a long time that both in-state teams are expected to be among the best teams in the NBA," Van Gundy says. "Naturally, that makes the excitement for the NBA here in Florida as high as it has ever been. Still, I don't think anything can diminish Florida's love of football at all levels."NBA jerseys

Magic general manager Otis Smith grew up in Jacksonville and doesn't entirely agree with Van Gundy. Yes, there is an intense football passion in Florida, Smith says, but it's not necessarily at all levels.

"Football will always be king in this state, but it has nothing to do with the NFL," Smith says. "It has everything to do with college football. People who were born and raised here grew up on college football."

Exactly. College football is the reason Florida will always be a pigskin peninsula, but when it comes to professional sports, you cannot deny Florida is quickly becoming an NBA state.

Baseball, of course, is not even in the conversation. The Florida Marlins are next-to-last in the league in attendance while the Tampa Bay Rays, even though they have the second-best record in baseball, are 23rd out of 30 teams.

In the NFL, all three state teams are coming off losing seasons and are having problems at the box office. It's not surprising considering their story lines are almost non-existent.

Let's take the Bucs as an example. Seriously, can you think of anything or anybody on that team that is even remotely interesting?MLB jerseys

In Jacksonville, the biggest story line of the preseason came when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell essentially told fans in the city to either start filling the stadium or risk losing their franchise. It's reached a panic point where Mayor John Peyton is begging fans to buy tickets to avoid the league-high number of blackouts the Jaguars had last season.

As for the Dolphins, the only reason they are interesting is because they acquired talented but tempestuous wide receiver Brandon Marshall during the offseason. But let's face it, when LeBron, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the Heat tipoff the season in late October, the Dolphins will shrink to the size of guppies.

Every Heat game this season is already sold out while the Magic will take a 75-game sellout streak into the 2010 season. The Magic have already sold a franchise-high 14,000 season tickets — 2,000 more than last season.

The Heat-Magic should be contenders for years to come. The Miami-Orlando rivalry has the feel, intensity and interest of Florida- Florida State. Decent tickets for the two teams' first game Oct. 29 in Miami are already going on-line for close to $1,000. If you tried hard enough, you could get a ticket to most any NFL game in the state this year for $10.

In Florida, there is but one reason to be excited about the start of the NFL season.

Because it means we will be four weeks closer to opening night in the NBA.
